Press Photo Books

Press Photo Books offer a tradeoff between quality and price. They are by far the most affordable type of photo book. They are affordable because they use press paper, which is less expensive. The tradeoff comes with press paper having lower quality image reproduction compared to Silver Halide or Giclée papers. Since the image quality is not as good, most boudoir photographers will not suggest a press photo book as their first choice in a boudoir package. Prints For Boudoir Photography

Prints are a popular print product for boudoir clients. These are typically purchased as alternatives to Albums & Books.

A benefit of Prints over Albums & Books is that if your boudoir package is designed around a small number of photos then prints can be easier to sell. As an example, with an album or book at Zno, you typically need at least eight images for the minimum number of eight spreads. So if you want to sell only five images, there isn’t really a way to accommodate this. But by contrast, with prints you can sell as little as one printed image.

Another reason some photographers prefer prints over Albums & Books is because you’re not locked into a single orientation. With an album or book, you must commit to an orientation (landscape, portrait, square) and then adapt images into that page orientation. This works great if all your images are only portraits or only landscapes. But if they are a mix of portraits and landscapes then you’ll need to shrink some images. And this means you can end up with a lot of white space. By contrast, prints are always the optimal size.

Lastly the primary reason for going with an album is to sequence photos into a storyline. In the case of wedding photography, there are clearly established events that build upon each other. But in boudoir photography, this isn’t the case as much. A photo shoot is mostly based around different poses and outfits, so the sequence of photos is not as important. This means that it may not make sense to invest the extra time in designing a narrative sequence in an album when there isn’t really one to begin with.

Loose Canvas Print

Loose Canvas Prints are printed with a Giclée 12-color pigment based printing process. They differ from all other prints by being printed directly onto canvas rather than photo paper. This is a great printing option for boudoir photographers who like the look of Canvas Gallery Wraps but who want the form factor of a small print. All Loose Canvas Prints can be printed with or without backing.

Flush Mount Print

Wood USB Drives uniquely allow for printing a full bleed image on the usb drive across both the cap and body. This differs from the Crystal USB Drive, where you can only print on the glass body. Metal USB Drive

When choosing a single DVD configuration you can opt for having the left panel being blank or having a printed image.

Tabletops For Boudoir Photography

Tabletops are similar to Wall Arts. You can sort of think of Tabletops as “wall arts for tables”. As with Wall Arts, they differ from albums and album sets due to them mostly featuring one image. Similarly, you cannot tell the story of an entire day with a set of photos. You instead highlight a boudoir clients’ most favorite photo. The exception to this would be Zno’s Matted Image Folio or Wrapped Image Folio, which both allow for displaying up to three images. Zno’s Slide-In Print Stand and Little Prints Stand allow for holding multiple images but can only display one image at any time.

As with Wall Arts there are similar considerations around privacy for some clients. A common placement for Tabletops with boudoir photos is on a nightstand. This usually affords enough privacy while still being on public display.
